Robert
M. Juaire, 85
Faribault
- Robert M. Juaire, 85, of Faribault and
formerly of Warren, died Friday, October 31, 2003
at the District One Hospital in Faribault. Mass of
Christian Burial was held on
Tuesday,
November 4, at 11 a.m. at the Saint's Peter and
Paul Catholic Church in Warren, with the Rev. Gary
LaMonie officiating. Interment was held at the
Calvary Cemetery in Warren, with military
honors.
Robert
Mathias Juaire, the son of Emery and Josephine
(Weires) Juaire, was born on July 11, 1918 in
Walcott Township, Rice County. Robert farmed in
Rice County until joining the Army during World War
II. After his service time, he moved to Euclid and
farmed there.
On
April 12, 1986, he was united in marriage to
Veronica Schader. Mrs. Juarie preceded him in death
on January 5, 2000. Robert retired to Warren in
1990, moved to Faribault in 2001, and for the past
two years had been living at the Alterra Sterling
House.
He
is survived by one son, Calvin (Dixie) Peters of
Warsaw; eight step children, Carol (Fred) Corich,
Louie (Jeannine) Schader, Vonnie Schroeder, Ann
Spangler, Joe (Deb) Schader and Mark Schader, all
of St. Paul; 29 grandchildren; 12 great
grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He
was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a
brother Edward Juaire, a sister Marion Peters, a
son-in-law, Terry Spangler and two grandchildren.
