Issendorf ObitChristopher Issendorf, 23

Thief River Falls - Christopher Issendorf, 23, died Saturday, June 22, 2002 as the result of an automobile accident near Middle River.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, June 26) at St. John Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls with Rev. Don Kirchner officiating. Casketbearers will include Eric Olson, Von Hutchinson, Dave Jorstad, Lyle Johnson, Scott Gilbert, and Tony Mapes. Chris's family and friends will serve as honorary casketbearers.

Visitation was held Tuesday, June 25, from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service at Johnson-Green Funeral Home in Thief River Falls. Visitation will also be held for one hour prior to services at the church.

Christopher Allen Issendorf was born on April 12, 1979 in Thief River Falls, the son of Thomas Earl and Pamela Alice (Mapes) Issendorf. He was baptized at St. John Lutheran Church on June 2, 1979. Chris attended school in Thief River Falls. He had worked for Marvin Windows in Grafton, N.D. and was presently working at Northern Woodworking in Thief River Falls.

He enjoyed fishing, camping, and motorcycles.

Chris is survived by his mother, Pam Issendorf of Middle River; his father, Thomas (Nancy) Issendorf of Thief River Falls; his grandmothers, Hildred Issendorf of Graceville and Donna Rehm of Middle River; a brother, Jeffrey Issendorf of Thief River Falls; a sister, Angie Bring of Crookston; a stepbrother, Jeremy Sisler of Warroad; a stepsister, Amy Sisler of Thief River Falls; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his grandfathers, Earl Issendorf and Louis Rehm. A00003B2002JU26
