Jacob Huffman
Lexington,
S.C. - Charles Jacob Huffman of Lexington, S.C.
died on Saturday, February 14, 2004.
Memorial
services were held on Tuesday, Feb. 17, at Christ
Evangelical Lutheran Church in Denny Terrace.
Born
in Columbia, S.C., Jacob was the son of Charlie and
Meta Huffman. He served in the U.S. Navy during
World War II in the 43rd Seabees battalion. He was
retired from the State-Record Newspaper. He was a
member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in
Denny Terrace.
Survivors
include one sister, Billie Huffman Crapps; one
daughter, Virginia "Patsy" (Jack) Terry of Del Rio,
Tenn.; sons, Charles of Lexington, S.C., Thomas
(Cathy) of Middle River; six grandchildren; and one
great-grandchildren.
He
was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years. His
body was donated to the Medical University of South
Carolina.
