Paulyne Hubbard, 87

Warren - Paulyne "Polly" Hubbard, 87, died Monday, April 9, 2001 at the Good Samaritan Center in Warren.

Services were held on Friday, Hubbard Obit April 13, at 10:30 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Warren with Rev. Don Kirchner officiating. Marlene Silnes was the organist, and Phyllis Nowacki was the soloist. Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery in Warren with Quanrud-DuBore Funeral Home of Warren in charge of the arrangements.

Paulyne Marie Fullerton was born on March 28, 1914 in Boone, Iowa, the daughter of John and Ruth Ella (Dake) Fullerton. She graduated from Boone High School. In 1935, she married Oliver P. Prather. In 1942, Polly married Gaylen McNaughton. In the early 1970's, she married Marvin Hubbard. He died in 1977. Polly resided in Iowa, Texas and Arkansas before moving to Warren in 1978.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid, the American Legion Auxiliary and VFW Auxiliary. Polly was also an active volunteer at Landmark Center, Good Samaritan Center, Hospital Auxiliary and Hobby Club.

She enjoyed playing cards, traveling to see her family and making survivor quilts and other crafts.

Polly is survived by four daughters, Constance (Ken) Hubbard of Livingston, Texas, Diane (Dale) Daub of Phoenix, Ariz., Gloria (Gale) Swanson of Rosamond, Calif. and Sharyl (Gary) Peters of Viking; two sons, Dean (Jean) Prather of Charleston, S.C. and Garry (Nita) McNaughton of Rapid City, S.D.; 21 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; a great great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Marvin; five brothers, Melvin, Jack, Dick, Roy and Robert; and two sisters, Lucille Wagner and Lorraine Howe. A00003B2000AP18
