June Hogenson, 74

Genesee, Wisc. - June Y. Hogenson, 74, died Saturday, June 2, 2001 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, L. Kay and Fred Fisher at Genesee, Wisc. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. today (Wednesday, June 6) at Church of Our Savior Evangelical Lutheran Church with Rev. Duane C. Wisner officiating. Burial will be in Estabrooks Cemetery with the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home of Fond du Lac in charge of the arrangements.

June Urdahl was born on June 22, 1926 at Goodridge, the daughter of Fred and Mabel (Norem) Urdahl.

On June 29, 1947 she was united in marriage to Milan "Hogie" Hogenson at Zion Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls. He died on November 29, 1991.

June was a member of Church of Our Savior Evangelical Lutheran Church.

She enjoyed flower gardening, sewing and music.

June is survived by two daughters, L. Kay (Fred) Fischer of Genesee, Wisc. and Deb (John) Stephany of Oshkosh, Wisc.; a son, Jim (Wanda) Hogenson of Neshkoro, Wisc.; 12 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; a sister, Margaret Sumpter of Temple City, Calif.; and a brother, Don Urdahl of Fallbrook, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a sister, Dorothy; and four brothers, Nordeen, Bud, Henry and Robert. A00003B2001JN06
