Thief
River Falls - Robert "Roy" Hinden, 41, died on
Sunday, August 25, 2002 at his home in Thief River
Falls.
Funeral
services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday,
August 29 at Faith Lutheran Brethren Church with
Rev. George Davis officiating. Casketbearers will
be Jessica Hinden, Joshua Hinden, Arlen Stenvik,
Kelly Stenvik, Shawn Martinsen, Randy Dempsey and
Brandy Good. Interment will be in Landstad Cemetery
in Sanders Township, Pennington County.
Visitation
will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 28
(today) at the Johnson-Green Funeral Home in Thief
River Falls and for one hour prior to services at
the church on Thursday.
Robert
"Roy" Dale Hinden was born on June 4, 1961, the son
of Delewoyn and Delvina (Wangen) Hinden in Thief
River Falls. He was baptized and confirmed into the
Lutheran faith. He grew up and attended Washington
Elementary and Franklin Middle School in Thief
River Falls.
Roy
was a loving man who loved to make people laugh. He
was an animal lover with a special gift with dogs.
He enjoyed playing the drums and inventing small
things.
Survivors
include his father, Del of Thief River Falls; a
sister, Rhonda (Barry) Martinsen of Thief River
Falls; two brothers, Wayne "Hip" and Mitch, both of
Thief River Falls; four nieces and nephews; and a
great-niece and a great-nephew.
Roy
was preceded in death by his mother, Delvina Hinden
