Chad Haug, 33

Fisher - Chad Larry Haug, 33, of Fisher, died at his rural home on Thursday, August 29, 2002.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, September 3 at Fisher Lutheran Church in Fisher with Rev. Carl E. Andersen officiating.

Chad Larry Haug was born on April 28, 1969, the son of Larry and Gloria (Olson) Haug. He was baptized and confirmed at the Fisher Lutheran Church and grew up on the family farm. He graduated from Fisher High School in 1988 and for the next two years, attended Northwest Technical College in East Grand Forks, taking classes in farm management. On June 9, 1990, Chad was united in marriage to Lizzy Miller at Trinity Lutheran Church in Crookston. The couple made their home in Fisher Township and Chad farmed with his father Larry and uncle Curt. He enjoyed the outdoors, whether it was spending time at the lake, winter ski trips or just going out for a drive. He especially enjoyed spending time with his daughters and loved to take them fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Lizzy; daughters, Kaitlynn and Kaylee; his parents, Larry and Gloria Haug of Fisher; two sisters, Lara (Tim) Leshuk of Hillsboro, N.D. and Kelsey (Chad) Wardner of Grafton, N.D.; a brother, Tyler (fiancé, Stacie Hoylo) of Fisher; a niece and two nephews; several aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bert and Kathy Miller of Crookston; grandparents-in-law; and three sisters-in-law.

Chad was preceded in death by his grandparents, Orville and Myrtle Haug and Allan and Linda Olson; and three cousins. A00003B2002SP04
