died Saturday, January 25, 2003 at Villa St.
Vincent in Crookston.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday,
Jan. 28, 2003 at First Church of God. Visitation at
at the Stennes Funeral Home Chapel in East Grand
Forks was held on Monday, January 27, 2003 and for
an hour before services on Tuesday at the church.
Burial will be at Sunnywood Gardens Cemetery, Grand
Forks, N.D.
Hilda
was born on June 28, 1927 at Manvel, N.D. the
daughter of Edwin and Myrtle (Eyestad) Sebjornson.
She attended school in
Warren,
Viking and Newfolden. She married Mervyn Hanson on
Sept. 3, 1950 in Goodridge. They made there home in
East Grand Forks in 1958. Mervyn died on Nov. 2,
1999 and on Dec. 1, 2000 Hilda moved to the Villa
St. Vincent in Crookston.
She
is survived by her two daughters; Diane (Ed) Golden
of Aberdeen, S.D., Lori (Dana) Helm of
Jacksonville, Fla., two sons; Daryl (Beatrice)
Hanson of Grand Forks, N.D., Mark Hanson of East
Grand Forks, four grandchildren; two
step-grandchildren; four step-great grandchildren;
Marlene Tillett of Grand Forks, N.D., a brother
Erivin Sebjornson of Homestead, Florida and an
uncle; Hilmar Eyestad of McCall, S.C..
She
was preceded in death by her husband, two step
great grandchildren, a sister Edna Olson, two
brothers Art and Merle Sebjornson, and her parents.
