Duane Hanson, 80 Hastings - Duane W. Hanson, 80, formerly of Thief River Falls, died on Saturday, September 14, 2002. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, September 18 at Our Saviour's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hastings. Interment was in Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Duane was a former employee of Rock Island Railroad. Survivors include his wife, Rosalie Amiot; five sons, Gary (Molly), Darroyl (Diana), Roger (Jackie), Kevin (Denise) and Craig; two daughters, Cindy Bottila and Lori (Rodney) Braun; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lois (Jack) Brown and Ardis (Rusty) Williams.
