Bruce
Hagen, 50

Missoula,
Mont. - Bruce Hagen, 50, died on Saturday,
January 24, 2004, near Kemmerer, Wyo. as the result
of a semi-trailer accident.
Funeral
services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan.
30, at United Lutheran Church in Gatzke, with
Pastor Jim Field officiating. Casket bearers
include Darwin Klamar, Gerald Lunsetter, Alan
Lunsetter, Carl Larson, Dale Redinger and Charles
Eberbach. Interment will be at Moose River Cemetery
in Gatzke.
Bruce
Leslie Hagen was born April 28, 1953, in Thief
River Falls, the son of Ralph and Ione (Peterson)
Hagen. He was baptized at Seventh Day Adventist
Church. He grew up and attended Middle River
Seventh Day Adventist School and graduated from
Middle River High School in 1971.
Bruce
drove truck for several people in the surrounding
area before moving to Missoula, Mont. He drove for
Palmers Trucking out of Missoula for several years
and also Vail Northwest out of Eugene, Ore.
He liked
to hunt, boat, read, watch movies and fly. He
enjoyed talking to friends and family on his cell
phone while he was on the road. He especially liked
dogs and traveling with his Jack Russell Terrier
named Nik.
Survivors
include his mother, Ione Aune of Grygla; brothers
and sisters, Emily (Loren) Dunston of Lathrop,
Calif., Keith (Shirley) of Gatzke, Elizabeth
(Charles) Eberbach of Rosemount, Laurel (Roger) Cox
of Colville, Wash., Ramon (fiancé, Shari) of
Everson, Wash., Irvin (Jane) of Proctor, Glenda
(Dale) Redinger of Thief River Falls, and Jennifer
(Gary) Wendlandt of Woodbury; 21 nieces and
nephews; 14 great-nieces and nephews; four aunts
and one uncle; many step-sisters and step-brothers
in the Aune family; many cousins and friends as
well as his co-workers at Vail.
He was
preceded in death by his father and step-father
Olaf Aune.
