Arlie Gustafson, 80

McIntosh - Arlie Gustafson, 80, died on Wednesday, October 16 at McIntosh Manor Nursing Home in McIntosh.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, October 19 at the McIntosh Community Center with Rev. Scott Bailey officiating. Interment was in Bethany Cemetery in rural Gully.

Arlie Archie Gustafson was born on May 15, 1922, the son of Axel and Annie Florence Gustafson in Trail. He attended rural school in Trail. Arlie's mother died in 1941 and Arlie continued to reside on the family farm with this father, where he helped with the farming and took care of the dairy herd. He worked at the American Crystal Sugar Beets Plants in East Grand Forks and Crookston for 14 years and later became a resident of McIntosh.

Survivors include his sister, Mildred Howard of Sauk Rapids; a brother, Marvin (Regina) Gustafson of Red Lake Falls; and several nieces and nephews.

Arlie was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Gust Gustafson; and a sister, Gladyce Nilson. A00003B2002OT23
