Eunice Harriet Gusa, 83

Elk River - Eunice Harriet Gusa, 83, of Elk River and formerly of Thief River Falls died on Monday, January 26, 2004, at her home in Elk River.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 30, at Emmanuel Christian Center in Spring Lake Park, with Pastor G. Mark Denves officiating. Casket bearers include James Merry, Shawn Merry, David Lee, Jay Roos, Donovan Roos, Robert Siedlecki and John Glassel. Interment will be held at Morningside Memorial Gardens in Coon Rapids.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, at Thurston -Lindberg Funeral Home in Anoka.

Eunice Harriet Johnson was born January 6, 1921 in Holt, the daughter of Gustav Andrew and Alma Berthina Johnson.

Survivors include her husband, Lloyd James Gusa; daughters, Vernette (Sam) Merry of Vicksburg, Miss., Jeanine (Gerard) Jones of St. Francis and Lourene (Ronald) Roos of Elk River; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one sister, Verna (Vern) Wilsona of Greeley, Colo.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Vincent Johnson; one sister, Helena Moe; and son-in-law, Rev. Graham Lee.
