Susan Grugal, 40

Roseau - Susan Margaret Grugal, 40, died on Friday, May 23, 2003 at the Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, N.D.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, May 27 at 2 p.m. at the St. Philips Catholic Church in rural Roseau.

Susan Margaret Grugal was born on September 7, 1963, the daughter of James and Ramona (Brown) Grugal, in Roseau. She grew up and attended school in Roseau. She lived in Badger, the West Coast, Grand Forks, N.D., for most of her adult life, and the last 13 years in Alvarado. She worked as a caregiver for handicapped individuals, as a waitress and a variety of other jobs. Susan enjoyed life, especially horses and motorcycles.

Survivors include her parents; siblings, James (Rose) of Roseau, Dennis of Roseau, Diane (Curtis) Scharf of Badger, and Kristina (Jerry) Kaml of Badger; special friend, Al Cuveus of Grafton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Susan was preceded in death by her brother, Steven Brown.
