N.M. - John Grim, 55, died Saturday, May 5,
2001 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock,
Texas.
Services
were held Thursday, May 10, at The Chapel with Rev.
Tom Rush officiating. Interment was in Lawn Haven
Memorial Gardens in Clovis with Muffley Funeral
Home of Clovis in charge of the
arrangements.
John
Eugene Grim was born on March 2, 1946 in Felton,
Pa., the son of Lloyd and Jane (Runkle) Grim. He
attended Red Lion High School and while attending
school worked as a foreman at Guy Hobbs Furniture
Factory. In 1965, he enlisted in the U.S. Air
Force.
On
December 10, 1967, John married Karen Mackenroth in
Emigsville, Pa. He retired from the Air Force in
1991.
He
enjoyed his grandchildren and
woodworking.
John
is survived by his wife, Karen Grim of Clovis; a
son, John Grim of Clovis; two daughters, Tamra
Munro and Debra Emerick, both of Clovis; five
grandchildren; his father, William Grim of
Dallastown, Pa.; his mother-in-law, Nona Mackenroth
of Thief River Falls; and three sisters, Gloria
Blymire of Felton, Pa. and Janet Grim and Kathy
Grim, both of Dallastown, Pa. A00003B2001JN27
