Barney Frank Grigel, the son of the late Andrew and Pauline (Bozikowski) Grigel, was born on August 11, 1915, at Warsaw, N.D. After a hospital stay, he entered the Valley Eldercare Nursing Home in Grand Forks N.D. where he remained to be close to his sisters and brothers. He loved people, making friends, and visiting with them, and was a friend to all he met.

He is survived by three sisters, Effie (Marvin) Ulberg, of Edinburg, N.D., Marie Windingland, of Grand Forks, N.D. and Magdeline Reigstad, Renton, Wash.; two brothers, Richard, of Grand Forks N.D. and Stan, of Fargo, N.D.; in addition to several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
