Linda Jo Goulet, 53

McIntosh - Linda Jo Goulet, 53, formerly of Thief River Falls, died Monday, January 28, 2002 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, N.D.

Mass of Christian burial was Goulet Obit b/w held Thursday, January 31, at 1:30 p.m. at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Thief River Falls with Father Tim McGee celebrating. Kristie LaSalle was the organist. Cantors were her nieces, Angelique Goulet-Newcomb, Danielle Peterson and Nikki Goulet. Serving as eucharistic ministers were her sister, Ginny Pream, and nieces, Jessica Pream-Hurst and Jan Semanko. Sheri Sergent, also a niece, was the reader. Gift presenters included nieces, Lisa Christian, Joanna Gunderson, Deb Iwasko and Shelli McGuire. Serving as casketbearers were Linda Jo's brothers-in-law, Duane Glass, Lyndon Pream, David Gunderson and Ray Nelson, and her nephews, Jonathan Pream, Steve Bump and Michael Bump. Interment will be in St. Bernard's Catholic Cemetery in Thief River Falls with Green Funeral Home of Thief River Falls in charge of the arrangements.

Linda Jo Goulet was born on June 6, 1948, in Thief River Falls, the daughter of Leonard and Doris (Lasha) Goulet. She was baptized June 13, 1948 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church and was later confirmed in the Catholic faith. She attended school in Thief River Falls.

Linda Jo worked at the Occupational Development Center, Valley Home, Northwest Medical Center and Northern Lights Bookstore in Thief River Falls and at the Developmental Achievement Center in Fosston.

She enjoyed playing games, watching movies, laughing and spending time with people, animals, crafts and embroidery.

She was a member of the Friendship Club.

Linda Jo is survived by seven sisters, Joy Holm of Hastings, Carole (Duane) Glass of Thief River Falls, Vicki (Mike) Bump of Alexandria, Diane (David) Gunderson of Minnetonka, Kathryn (Todd) Lessen of Douglasville, Ga., Donna Goulet of Bloomington, and Virginia (Lyndon) Pream of Thief River Falls; two brothers, Michael Goulet of Minneapolis and Jim (partner Ray Nelson) Goulet of St. Louis Park; and a sister-in-law, Linda K. Goulet of Thief River Falls.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Ronald and John "Jack" Goulet. A00003B2002FB6
