- James Good, 68, died on Thursday, March 6,
2003 in Hutchinson.
Funeral
services were held on Monday, March 10 at North
Crow River Lutheran Church with the Rev. Michael
Nelson officiating. Music was provided by Harvey
Peterson and Karen Good. Casketbearers were Dale
Good, Denney Rathburn, David Dahlen, Greg Johnson,
Harlan Mostrom and Joel Dahlen. Interment was in
Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
James
Harvey Good was born on February 10, 1935, the son
of Wayne and Hilma (Mostrom) Good in Red Lake. He
grew up and went to school on the Red Lake
Reservation. James was in the Army from January
1955 to January 1959, serving his country during
the Korean War.
On
September 18, 1965, he married Audrey Haarstick.
James enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to local
sporting events. He also enjoyed spending time with
his family and friends and looked forward to being
with his grandchildren.
Survivors
include his wife, Audrey; son, Dale (fiancé,
Kim) of Hutchinson; daughter, Wendy (Gregory)
Johnson of Cokato; sisters, Ella Englund of Thief
River Falls and Hellen Brozio of New Port Richey,
Fla.; brothers, Bert Good of Trail, Willie Good of
Trail and Archie Wilson of Blythe, Calif.; and two
grandchildren.
James was
preceded in death by his parents; sister, Myrtle;
