C. Giles, 61

- James C. Giles, 61, formerly of Thief River
Falls died recently. Funeral services were held on
Wednesday, August 14 at Zion Lutheran Church in
Minneapolis. Interment and a graveside service were
held on Thursday, August 15 in the Holt Cemetery.
James
C. Giles was born the son of William and Flora
Giles. He retired from the US Air Force after 20
years of service. He also worked as a social worker
at the county level in Marshall and LeSueur
Counties, at the state level for SSIS and privately
for Ambassador Good Samaritan Center. Jim was also
active with the Boy Scouts of America and was an
active member of Zion Lutheran Church in
Minneapolis.
Survivors
include his wife, LuAnn; children, William
(Shasta), Mary, and John (Jessica); four
grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Mary; and a niece
and nephew.
