Catherine
C. Gibson, 50
Hibbing
- Catherine Christine Gibson, 50, of Hibbing,
died on Saturday, July 10, 2004 at Altru Hospital
in Grand Forks, N.D., as a result of injuries
sustained in an automobile accident.
A
memorial service was held on Friday, July 16, at
the Anderson-Daniels Funeral Home Chapel, with
Pastor Randy Williamson officiating. Interment was
held at the Maple Hill Cemetery.
Catherine
was born on October 25, 1953 in Hibbing, the
daughter of Carl and Anne (Furin) Gibson. She was a
graduate of Hibbing High School and received a
bachelor's degree in photography.
Catherine
was the owner of Catherine Gibson Photography in
Hibbing. She was interested in genealogy, she loved
cats and enjoyed wildflowers.
Catherine
had many friends and relatives in the Thief River
Falls area. She is also survived by her sisters and
brothers, Carolanne (John) Sikkila, Bettie Gibson,
Robert Gibson, Patrick (Elma) Gibson, all of
Hibbing, and Barb (Richard) Maki, of Keewatin; and
several nieces and nephews.
She
was preceded in death by her parents and her
brother in-law, Richard Maki.
