- Donald O. Flattum, 87, died Saturday, June
30, 2001.
Mass
of Christian burial was held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday,
July 3, at The Church of St. Rose in Roseville.
Interment was in Roselawn Cemetery with Roseville
Memorial Chapel in charge of the
arrangements.
Donald
O. Flattum was born on November 10, 1913, the son
of Alfred and Selma Flattum. Donald grew up in
Thief River Falls where he married his wife, Viola,
raised their family and was employed until 1966
when they moved to the Twin Cities area. Donald and
Viola were caretakers for La Blanche Apartments in
St. Paul for a number of years before retiring.
Survivors
include his wife, Viola; three daughters, Virginia
Ranum, Junice Rae (Dick) Sharar and Jeanne (Mel)
Sauve; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren;
and four brothers, Paul (Theldine), Luther, Stanley
(Betty) and Morris (June).
Donald
was preceded in death by his parents; a brother,
Gerry; and a sister, Fern. A00003B2001JL04
