Henrietta Filipi, 84

Angus - Henrietta Filipi, 84, died on Monday, August 26, 2002 at Valley Memorial Eldercare Center in Grand Forks, N.D.

Funeral servies were held on Filipi Friday, August 30 at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Tabor. Interment was in the Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery in Tabor.

Henrietta Kliner was born on October 24, 1917, the daughter of Henry and Albina (Holy) Kliner in Tabor. She married Elmer B. Filipi on July 7, 1938 in Racine, Wisc. The couple farmed in Tabor Township their entire life. Elmer died on August 9, 1994.

Survivors include three sons, Tony (Jeanette) of Angus, Aldon (Janice) of Warren and Lance of St. Paul; five daughters, Yvonne (LeRoy) Vonasek of Warren, Norma (Dennis) Helm of Newfolden, Jane (Pat) Novak of Mounds View; Lana (Gary) Corwin of Circle Pines and Lois Filipi of Grand Forks, N.D.; 19 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and five sisters, Agnes Eidelbes of Goodridge, Charlotte Severson of Glendale, Calif., Gladys (Francis) Stroot of Coon Rapids, Ethel (Theodore) Safanski of Argyle and Eva (Al) Boman of Alvarado.

Henrietta was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one brother, Harvey; one sister, Adeline; and one great-grandchild.
