Carol Estabrooks, 48

Roseau - Carol Faye Estabrooks, 48, died on Tuesday, December 24, 2002 at the Roseau Area Hospital.

Funeral services were held on Carol Estabrooks Monday, December 30 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Churh in Roseau. Interment was in St. Bernard's Catholic Cemetery in Thief River Falls.

Carol Faye Thompson was born on March 4, 1954, the daughter of Waldo and Lois (Loeffler) Thompson in Thief River Falls. She grew up and attended school in Thief River Falls and graduated from high school in 1972. She lived in Minneapolis for a few years before moving back to work for North Star Transport in Thief River Falls and Roseau. She moved to Roseau in 1980.

On June 14, 1980, Carol was united in marriage to Roger Estabrooks in Roseau. She started work at Polaris Industries in 1990, and was currently working there.

Carol was active in a bowling league, she loved the outdoors, camping, fishing and snowmobiling. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, photography, reading and collectibles.

Survivors include her husband, Roger of Roseau; chidren, Nancy (Troy) Baker of Callaway, Gary (Krissy) Estabrooks of Marshalltown, Iowa, Dale (Jennifer) Lund of Fargo, N.D. and Jason (Tannia) Lund of Washington, Iowa; six grandchildren; her father, Waldo Thompson of Thief River Falls; and sisters, Barb (John) Holthusen of Thief River Falls, Paula (Kevin) Olson of Thief River Falls and Jodi (Rob) Rolland of Englewood, Colo.

Carol was preceded in death by her mother, Lois; brother, Ellard; and a nephew. A00003B2003JA01
