River Falls - Kurt Erickson, 44, died on
Thursday, December 12, 2002 at his home in Thief
River Falls.
Funeral
services were held on 
Monday,
December 16 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in
Thief River Falls with Rev. Tim McGee officiating.
Carol Amundson was the organist and Shelly Burkel
was the soloist. Casketbearers were Derek Erickson,
Jared Erickson, Marty Landin and Chad Dominick.
Kurt
Wayne Erickson was born on January 20, 1958, the
son of Leif and Bernadette (Blazek) Erickson in
Thief River Falls. He was baptized and confirmed
into the Catholic faith at St. Bernard's Church. He
graduated from Lincoln High School in 1976. He then
attended Northland Community and Technical College
in Thief River Falls. He was employed by Forsberg
Inc. for several years and most recently worked at
Hardware Hank, both in Thief River Falls. Kurt
enjoyed swimming, fishing, cars and sports. He also
enjoyed time with his family and
friends.
Survivors
include his mother, Bernadette Erickson of Thief
River Falls; brother, Kent of Hutchinson; sister,
Kelly (Wayne) Landin of Warroad; four nephews; and
several aunts and uncles.
Kurt
was preceded in death by his father, Leif, and his
