Kelly Englund, 36

Fargo, N.D. - Kelly Englund, 36, formerly of Gatzke, died Monday, August 27, 2001 at MeritCare Hospital in Fargo, N.D.

Funeral services were held at 11 Englund, Kelly a.m. on Saturday, September 1, at United Lutheran Church in Gatzke with Rev. Sandra Hollands officiating. Gloria Sistad was the organist, and the soloist was Joy Nordby. Casketbearers included Glenn Englund, Tom Pittman, Chris Omlid, Steve Zavoral, Scott Overgaard, Tommy Englund, Kevin Johnson and Mike Pittman. Interment was in Espelie Township Cemetery in Marshall county near Grygla. Green Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Kelly Wayne Englund was born on April 3, 1965 in Roseau, the son of Dwayne and Ila (Pittman) Englund of Grygla. Kelly grew up in the Grygla/Gatzke area and graduated from Grygla High School in 1983. He lived and worked in Minneapolis and Duluth prior to moving to Fargo earlier this year.

Survivors include two daughters, Regan Englund of Albertville and Savannah Englund of Duluth; his mother, Ila, and stepfather, Larry Hagen, of Gatzke; three brothers, Lon of Gatzke, Lance (Esther) of Pahrump, Nev. and Kurt (Sheri) of Cloquet; a sister, Lori (David) Jones of Burnsville; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Kelly was preceded in death by his father and grandparents, Emil and Ellen Englund, William and Ruth Raymond and Delmar and Eunice Hagen. A00003B2001SP05
