- Tillie R. Eliason, 93, died Thursday, May 3,
2001 at the University Medical
Center-Mesabi.
Funeral
services were held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 5, at
Dougherty Funeral Home in Hibbing. Interment was in
Maple Hill Cemetery in Hibbing.
Tillie
R. Kotrba was born in Goodridge on December 27,
1907, the daughter of Martin and Frances Kotrba.
She lived in Goodridge for 55 years and was a
Hibbing resident for 38 years. She was employed as
a cook at the Androy Hotel for 18 years prior to
her retirement. Tillie married Elner Eliason. He
died in 1954.
She
enjoyed crafts as a hobby.
Tillie
is survived by a son, Harvey Eliason of Ashtubula,
Ohio; three daughters, Arlene (Torval) Dahle,
Shirley (Gordon) Hovet and Sharon (Adam Jr.)
Grobove, all of Hibbing; 29 grandchildren; and
numerous great-grandchildren, great
great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She
was preceded in death by her parents, husband and
two sons, Richard and Carrol.
