Verna Ehrle, 87

Stillwater - Verna (Myhrer) Ehrle, 87, formerly of Newfolden, died unexpectedly on Saturday, June 26, 2004 in Stillwater.

Funeral services were held on June 30, at Beaver Lake Lutheran Church in St. Paul. Interment was held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Bloomington.

Verna was born November 7, 1916, in Stillwater to Rev. Thorvald and Bertha (Kjimmestad) Myhrer. She moved with her family to Newfolden in 1919, where she was confirmed, attended grade school and graduated from high school in 1936.

Verna was united in marriage to Robert "Bob" Ehrle on December 2, 1939 in St. Paul where they made their home.

Verna is survived by her daughters, Barbara (Pat) Needham of Stillwater, Kathy (Don) Rogahn of Chisago City; four grandchildren; one sister, Helen Hetland of Thief River Falls; sister-in-law, Verna Myhrer of Newfolden; along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; sister Elfie; and brothers, Kore, Marshall and Helmer. A00003B2004JL07
