Taylor Drangstveit, 10

Goodridge - Taylor Drangstveit, 10, died on Wednesday, December 25, 2002 at MeritCare Hospital in Fargo, N.D.

Funeral services were held on Drangstveit, Taylor Monday, December 30 at Faith Lutheran Church in Goodridge with Rev. Robert Dahlen officiating. Katherine Nordine was the pianist. Casketbearers were Mike Drangstveit, Wayne Thomas, Roger Thomas, Nic Miller, Greg Olson, Lucas Thomas, Gene Arveson and Bob Wayne. Honorary casketbearers were the Goodridge Fifth Grade Class.

Taylor Anthony Drangstveit was born on February 3, 1992, the son of Terry and Tammy (Thomas) Drangstveit at Northwest Medical Center in Thief River Falls. He was baptized in the Lutheran faith at Faith Lutheran Church in Goodridge. He attended school in Goodridge, where he was in the fifth grade.

Taylor enjoyed all sports including basketball, football, snowboarding, baseball and riding four-wheeler and all activities, whether indoor or outdoor. He loved being with his parents, his brother, Devin, his sister, Stephanie and all other family and friends. Over the past few years, Taylor had many health challenges, but still enjoyed life to the fullest. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Goodridge.

Survivors include his parents, Terry and Tammy Drangstveit of Goodridge; one brother, Devin; a sister, Stephanie; grandparents, Merlin and Marlys Drangstveit of Goodridge and Leland and Thelma Thomas of Grygla; a great-grandmother, Caroline Drangstveit; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and several great-aunts and uncles.

Taylor was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Orin Drangstveit, Albert and Viola Mostrom, Hans and Andrea Nystul, Tom Thomas, Florence Landro and Alfred Landro. A00003B2003JA01
