Gonvick
- Doris Danielson, 69, died Friday, July 20,
2001 at her home in Gonvick.
Funeral
services were held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 24,
at Nazareth Lutheran Church, rural Trail, with Rev.
Steven Sparley officiating. Interment was in
Nazareth Lutheran Cemetery with Carlin-Hoialmen
Funeral Home of Fosston in charge of the
arrangements.
Doris
Elvina Mostrom was born on October 3, 1931 in Thief
River Falls, the daughter of William and Ella
(Mostrom) Mostrom. Doris was baptized and confirmed
at Nazareth Lutheran Church near Trail.
On
November 4, 1952, she was united in marriage to
Jergen Bjerklie at the parsonage in Trail and the
couple moved to Gonvick. Jergen died in
1983.
On
November 19, 1986, Doris was married to Stanley
Danielson in Milbank, S.D. The couple made their
home in Gonvick. For many years, Doris worked at
the lefse factory near Gonvick.
She
was a member of Nazareth Lutheran Church and
Gonvick American Legion Post 304
Auxiliary.
Doris
is survived by four brothers, LeRoy Mostrom of
Gonvick, Robert Mostrom of Brooks, Forrest (Betty)
Mostrom of Gonvick and Lyle (Joyce) Mostrom of Van
Wert, Iowa; two sisters, Bernice (Gilmer) Oftelie
of Gully and Shirley Johnsrud of Goodridge; and
many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and
cousins.
She
was preceded in death by her husbands, parents and
