Theresa Dahlin, 67

Thief River Falls - Theresa Dahlin, 67, died Wednesday, April 25, 2001 at her home in Thief River Falls.

Funeral services were held at 10 Dahlin obit a.m. on Saturday, April 28, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls with Rev. John Wollenzien officiating. Dee Wollenzien was the organist, and Glenda Olson was the soloist. Casketbearers were Orin Larson, Trevor Knutson, Marvin Nelson, Dennis Moen, Earl Erickson and James Dahlin. Honorary casketbearers were all of Terry's grandchildren and nephews. Burial was in Comstock Cemetery in Comstock township of Marshall county. Green Funeral Home of Thief River Falls was in charge of the arrangements.

Theresa "Terry" Lorraine Larson was born on March 4, 1934 in Galesburg, N.D., the daughter of Lawrence M. and Thelma O. (Johnson) Larson. The family lived in Galesburg, Crookston, Wheaton, Fargo, N.D. and Ada. Terry spent the majority of her high school years at Crookston and graduated from Lincoln High School in Thief River Falls in 1951.

On June 29, 1952, she was united in marriage to Winton Dahlin at Trinity Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls. The couple made their home and raised their family in Thief River Falls.

Terry worked as a cook at Dynamite Restaurant and Drive In. She then worked for Arctic Cat's clothing division in Thief River Falls and Karlstad. Later, she worked as a collection agent for the Thief River Falls Credit Bureau, retiring from there due to ill health.

Terry was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the American Legion Auxiliary.

She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, camping, traveling, playing cards and games and especially visiting with her family.

Terry is survived by her husband, Winton; three sons, David (Sue), Rick (Charmaine) and Dan (Stacy), all of Thief River Falls; seven grandchildren; a great-grandson; a sister, Shari (Jeff) Knutson of Thief River Falls; and a brother, Lawrence M. (Shirley) Larson Jr. of Fridley.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a great-grandson, Darrin. A00003B2000MY02
