Candor,
N.C. - Carol Singer Conway, 59, formerly of
Thief River Falls, died on Thursday, January 9,
2003 at her home in Candor, N.C.
Funeral
services were held on Sunday, January 12 at Family
Worship Ministries in Troy, N.C. with Rev. Harold
Pope officiating. Interment will be at a later date
in Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington,
Va.
Mrs.
Conway was a native of Fargo, N.D. and a graduate
of Detroit Lakes High School. She was employed by
the State Employees Credit Union and attended
Family Worship Ministries in Troy, N.C.
Survivors
include her husband, Chester of Candor, N.C.; four
sons, Daniel Schmidt of Thurmont, Md., Steven
Conway of Star, N.C., Douglas Conway of Detroit
Lakes and David Conway of Milwaukee, Wisc.; five
daughters, Debbie Warner of Taylorsville, Ky.,
Pamela White of Milwaukee, Wisc., Alicia Kohler of
Prattsville, Ala., Patricia Wooden of Crosby and
Jennifer Sanders of Hendersonville, N.C.; four
brothers, Merle Singer of Perham, Richard Singer of
Perham, David Singer of Prior Lake and Peter Singer
of Cape Coral, Fla.; three sisters, Clara Beckett
of Moorhead, Nancy Kankovsky of West Yellowstone,
Mont. and Diane Velashi of Baldwin, Wisc.; and 20
grandchildren.
Carol was
preceded in death by her parents, one sister and
