Mark Clark, 40

Jacksonville Beach, Fla. - Mark Clark, 40, formerly of Trail, died Monday, April 9, 2001 at Jacksonville Beach, Fla.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 16 at Johnson Funeral Service in Oklee with Rev. Terry Olson officiating. Marian Marquis was the organist. Serving as casketbearers were his brothers, Algernon Clark Jr., Henry Clark, Timothy Clark, Richard Clark, Edward Clark, David Clark and Matthew Clark. Interment was in Clearwater Cemetery at rural Oklee.

Mark Anthony Clark was born on February 17, 1961 at Thief River Falls, the son of Algernon and Violet (Anderson) Clark. He was baptized and Clearwater Lutheran Church and was educated at Oklee Public School. He moved to Florida where he enjoyed the weather and worked as a carpenter, painter and landscaper.

Mark enjoyed bird hunting, fishing and working with wood.

Survivors include his mother, Violet L. Clark, rural Trail; a son, Roman A. Clark of Bushnell, Fla.; a daughter, Brittany V. Clark of Bushnell, Fla.; seven brothers, Algernon (Leasha) Clark Jr. of Trail, Henry (Wilma) Clark of Two Harbors, Timothy (Carolyn) Clark of Elk River, Richard (Carol) Clark of Thief River Falls, Edward (Rhonda) Clark of Elk River, David Clark of Crystal and Matthew Clark of Trail; two sisters, Nadine (Jim) Peterson of Coon Rapids and Kathleen (John) Chamberlain of Fergus Falls; 14 nieces and nephews; a great niece; and a great nephew.

Mark was preceded in death by his father, grandparents and aunts and uncles. A00003B2000AP18
