Peggy MacInnis Bye

Scottsdale, Ariz. - Peggy MacInnis Bye died Thursday, November 15, 2001 at the Mayo Hospital in Scottsdale, Ariz.

A memorial service celebrating her life was held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 20, at St. Andrew Lutheran Church in Eden Prairie. Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel was in charge of the arrangements.

Peggy MacInnis grew up in south Minneapolis and married Billy Bye in late 1950 after they graduated from the University of Minnesota.

In 1999, a University of Minnesota scholarship for women athletes playing University hockey was established in her name.

Survivors include her husband, Billy Bye; two daughters, Julianne Bye and Mary (Mike) Ruddy; a son, Jim (Heidi) Bye; two granddaughters; and a sister, Mary Lauck of Alexandria, Va. A00003B2001NV21
