Thief
River Falls - Grace Busse, 66, died Friday,
December 26, 2003 at Northwest Medical Center in
Thief River Falls.
Funeral
services were held on
Tuesday,
Dec. 30, at Calvary Lutheran Church in St. Hilaire,
with Rev. Terri Cuppett officiating. Casket bearers
included Griffen Newland, Josh Wold, Nick Wold,
Eric Vedbraaten, Vernon Brazier, Greg Anderson and
Mark Alland. Interment was held at Greenwood
Cemetery of Thief River Falls.
Grace
Wold was born March 30, 1937 in Thief River Falls,
the daughter of Ingvald and Minnie (Efteland) Wold.
She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran
Faith and attended Lincoln High School, Thief River
Falls.
On
February 2, 1974, Grace was united in marriage to
George Busse in Thief River Falls. She was employed
at the Best Western Motel and Northwestern Hospital
both in Thief River Falls.
Grace
liked to crochet, sew, hunt and crafts. She
especially liked to ice fish and spend time with
her grandchildren.
Survivors
include daughters, Marilyn (Rick) Scully of Roseau,
Wendy (Wayne) Stanfield of Buena Park, Calif.,
Kathy (Loren) Anderson of Duluth, Roxane (Jim)
Rondorf of Thief River Falls and Brenda (Mike)
Skibicki of Thief River Falls; a son, LeRoy
(special friend, Amanda Mutnansky) Busse of Thief
River Falls, and special friend, "Buzz" McAdam of
Thief River Falls; 16 grandchildren; 3
great-grandchildren; sisters, Deb (Arlen) Brekke of
Oklee, Edith (Roger) Vedbraaten of Fosston;
brothers, Ronald (Becky) Wold of California, Bruce
(Barb) Wold of Bemidji, Robert (Liz) Wold of
Missouri, Phillip (Yvonne) Wold and Peter (Suzy)
Wold all of Crookston; son-in-law, Nelson Tanaka of
California; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and
nephews.
She
was preceded in death by husband, George on June
19, 1985; one daughter, Shirley; her parents,
grandparents and nephew.
