Carol Bright, 56

Fosston - Carol Bright, 56, died on Wednesday, February 12, 2003 at her home in Fosston.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, February 15 at the Zion Bright, Carol Lutheran Church in Oklee with the Rev. Robert Paulson officiating. Marian Marquis was the organist and Donna Fossum was the soloist. Casketbearers were Chris Lessard, Jesse Lessard, Rick Sherman, Irvin Flatgard, Jimmy Sundquist and Steve Dunrud. Burial of ashes will be in the spring at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Oklee.

Carol May Bright was born on May 13, 1946, the daughter of Kermit Aasen and Iola Christine Dunrud in Muskegon, Mich. She grew up in various places throughout the Midwest, attended school in Grafton, N.D. and graduated high school in Brooklyn Center. Carol worked at various places before settling in Oklee in the mid 1970s.

In 1980, she was united in marriage to David Bright. She recently moved to Fosston.

Survivors include a son, Charles David Bright of Salt Lake City, Utah; her parents, Orrin and Iola Anderson of Oklee; two sisters, Deborah Janssen of Madison, Wisc. and Cindy (Randy) Lucek of Campbell; her mother-in-law, Freida Bright of Manila, Ark.; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband, David; her father; her grandparents; and her father-in-law.
