- Blake Brekke, infant son of Nicole Brekke and
Nickolas Vettleson, died on Saturday, November 23,
2002 at MeritCare Hospital in Fargo,
N.D.
Funeral
services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday,
November 27 (today) at the Johnson-Green Funeral
Service Chapel in Oklee with Rev. Frank Ehling and
Rev. Bob Paulson officiating. Gelene Lundeen will
be the organist and special music will be provided
by Alex, Troy, Kelly and Kevin Brekke. Honorary
casketbearers will be Derick Vettleson, Erika
Vettleson, Lindsay Vettleson, Andrew Vettleson,
Andrew Brekke, Casey Brekke and Dylan Brekke.
Interment will be in Clearwater Cemetery in rural
Oklee. Visitation will be held for one hour prior
to services at the chapel.
Blake
Nickolas Brekke was born on November 23, 2002, the
son of Nicole Ann Brekke and Nickolas Andreas
Vettleson in Thief River Falls. He was baptized by
his great-grandmother, Beverly Nething at Northwest
Medical Center in Thief River Falls.
Survivors
include his parents; grandparents, Dale and Shelley
Brekke of Oklee, Annette Magnell of Goodridge and
Mark and Anita Vettleson of Brooks;
great-grandparents; and many aunts, uncles, cousins
and other relatives and friends.
