Katherine Bourassa, 97 Edina - Katherine (Sevalier) Bourassa, 97, died on Saturday, May 31, 2003 at the Villa Saint Vincent Nursing Home in Crookston. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 4 (today) at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Crookston. Interment will be held in the Resurrection Cemetery in St. Paul. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service. Katherine was born on November 4, 1905 in Brule, Wisc., the daughter of P. and Mary Stuart Sevalier. She was raised in Winnebejou, Wisc., and attended the Villa Scholastica in Duluth. She was united in marriage to Staley E. Bourassa on June 15, 1928. Survivors include her son, Fr. Stanley C. Bourassa of Mentor, and several nieces and nephews. Katherine was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley E. Bourassa, and her daughter, Nancy Ann. A00003B2003JN04
