Anne Borgaard, 91 Junction City, Ore. - Anne Borgaard, 91, formerly of Thief River Falls, died on Monday, July 14, 2003. Memorial services were held on July 18 at Faith Lutheran Church with interment at Danish Cemetery, both in Junction City, Ore. Anne Olga Evenson was born on January 1, 1912 in Thief River Falls, the daughter of Christ and Clara Kindley Evenson. She moved to Junction City, Ore., 65 years ago. On February 4, 1941, Anne was united in marriage to Herman Borgaard in Junction City. She was a homemaker and worked as a waitress. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and volunteering for church and community activities. She was a member and secretary of the Danish Ladies Aid Society for 25 years and belonged to Faith Lutheran Church in Junction City. Survivors include two daughters, Delores Custer of New York City and Sally Wright of Corvallis, Ore.; a son, Bob of Junction City, Ore.; a sister, Mayme Aune of Thief River Falls; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
