Lorraine Bondley, 70

Bismarck, N.D. - Lorraine M. Bondley, 70, formerly of Thief River Falls, died on Thursday, September 5, 2002 at a Bismarck, N.D. medical center.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, September 7 at the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit in Bismarck, N.D. with Father Thomas Kramer officiating. Interment will be in Crookston at a later date.

Lorraine Huot was born on April 20, 1932, the daughter of Joseph and Leah (Roy) Huot. On May 30, 1953, she was united in marriage to Martin Bondley in Thief River Falls. She was employed at two banks, Sears and Hilger Chevrolet for a period of time. She then worked at Mandan Hospital and as a volunteer at MedCenter One in Bismarck, N.D. Lorraine was very active at the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit and in the Catholic Daughters, in which she served as a regent. She earned a bachelor's degree in Christian ministry from the University of Mary in 1990.

Lorraine touched many hearts over the course of her life. She especially enjoyed the times when her children and grandchildren gathered with her and her husband. There would be food, fun, laughter and lots of card games.

Survivors include her husband, Martin; three daughters, Marilyn (Lee) Wegmann of Glendive, Mont., Veronica (Scott) Hedlind and Regina (Mac) McQueen, both of Las Vegas, Nev.; three sons, Chuck (Diane) of Glendive, Mont., Keith (Darlene) and Doug (Mari), both of Bismarck, N.D.; three brothers, Roy (Barbara) Huot, Dale (Arlene) Huot and Bernard (Evie) Huot; two sisters, Marian (Al) Arneson and Dorothy Rock; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Lorraine was preceded in death by one daughter, Connie Rose Bondley; her parents; and one sister, Ella Mae Vickery.
