- Helen Blish, 79, died on Tuesday, April 29,
2003 at Innovis Hospital in Fargo, N.D.
Funeral
services were held on Friday, May 2 at Grace United
Methodist Church in Warren. Interment was held in
Greenwood Cemetery in Warren.
Helen
Hall was born on December 30, 1923, the daughter of
A.J. and Rose (Wendt) Hall, in Warren. She
graduated from Warren High School. After she
graduated, she took care of her parents and helped
on the family farm.
On May
25, 1958, she was united in marriage to George
Blish in Warren. The couple made their home in
rural Warren on a farm her father bought in 1902,
where they farmed. Helen enjoyed gardening, sewing,
cooking and taking care of her chickens.
Survivors
include four children, David (Kathy) of New
Orleans, La., Susan Blish of Milwaukee, Wisc., Jon
of Warren, and Jean (Kevin) Siers of Charlotte,
N.C.; and three grandchildren.
Helen was
preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and
an infant brother, Russell.
