Craig Blilie, 36

St. Hilaire - Craig A. Blilie, 36, died on Wednesday, November 27, 2002, near St. Hilaire.

Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, November 30 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Thief River Falls with Rev. Tim McGee officiating. Kristi LaSalle was the organist. Casketbearers were Michael Geske, Michael Rehm, Charles Bowmar, Mark Haugen, Jamie Wallenberg and Brian Jones. Interment was in the Community Cemetery in St. Hilaire.

Craig Allen Blilie was born on November 21, 1966, the son of Ida Blilie in Thief River Falls. He was baptized at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Grand Forks, N.D. and confirmed at St. Clements Catholic Church in Grygla. He attended school in Grygla. Craig was an owner-operator truck driver and leased to Overbye Truck Line in Lakeville. He also drove for Hartz Trucking and Prowler Trucking in Thief River Falls. Craig enjoyed golfing, playing pool, playing cards and fishing.

Survivors include his fiancée Lawni Young; his mother, Ida Blilie of Thief River Falls; one brother, Gary of Thief River Falls; a son, Daniel Blilie of Minneapolis; an aunt; three uncles and several other relatives and friends.

Craig was preceded in death by his grandparents, uncles, aunts, two cousins and his great-grandparents.
