Wayne, Ind. - Ann Blasius, 77, died Tuesday,
January 15, 2002 at her home in Fort Wayne,
Ind.
Memorial
services were held on Saturday, January 19, at 11
a.m. at Forest Park United Methodist Church in Fort
Wayne with arrangements by D.O. McComb & Sons
Pine Valley Park Funeral Home.
Ann
Adolphson was born in Thief River Falls, the
daughter of Elmer and Bernice Adolphson. She was a
homemaker and also worked as a salesperson with
L.S. Ayres. Prior to that, she was a lab
technician.
She
was a 43-year member of Forest Park United
Methodist Church, Sons of Norway, Scandinavian
Lodge, Rebecca Circle of Forest Park United
Methodist Church and Cedar Creek Women's
Club.
Ann
is survived by her husband, Carl Blasius; two sons,
"Chip" Blasius of Fort Wayne and Glen Blasius of
Huntertown, Ind.; two sisters, Kay Adolphson of
Thief River Falls and Joyce Hillyer of Minneapolis;
a brother, Loren "Bud" Adolphson of Minneapolis;
four grandchildren; and one
great-grandchild.
She
was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters,
Viola Buoen and Helen Lund; and two brothers,
Donald and Harold Adolphson.
