Martha Bemlott, 96

St. Paul - Martha K. Bemlott, 96, formerly of Thief River Falls, died Sunday, January 28, 2001 at Lyngbomsten Care Center in St. Paul. Bemlott obit

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 9, at Greenwood Cemetery in Thief River Falls with Rev. Dan Horn officiating. Green Funeral Home of Thief River Falls is in charge of the arrangements.

A memorial service was held on Tuesday, January 30, at 10 a.m. at Lyngbomsten Care Center Chapel in St. Paul. Arrangements were with Holcomb-Henry-Boom Funeral Home.

Martha K. Dostal was born on November 25, 1904 in Thief River Falls, the daughter of Joseph and Fannie Dostal. For many years, she worked for the State of Minnesota as chief operator of the Motor Vehicle Department.

Survivors include a daughter, Betty (Bill) Kreitz of St. Paul; a son, James (Yvonne) Arneson of Blaine; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; five great great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and numerous other relatives.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents; 10 siblings; the father of her children, Harold Arneson; her husband, Henry Bemlott; and a granddaughter in infancy. A00003B2000MY02
