N.D. - JoAnn Belanus, 45, died on Friday,
August 22, 2003 near Galesburg, N.D.
Memorial
services will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday,
August 27 at 
Elm
River Lutheran Church in Galesburg and at 1:30 p.m.
on Thursday, August 28 at St. Peter's Episcopal
Church in Walhalla, N.D. Interment will be in
Hillside Cemetery in Walhalla.
JoAnn
Marjorie Wahl was born on October 30, 1957 in Great
Falls, Mont., the daughter of Marvin and Rose
(Heffner) Wahl. She grew up in Great Falls and
Missoula, Mont., where she attended school.
On
July 12, 1974 she was united in marriage to Charles
W. Belanus in Walhalla, N.D. The couple lived in
Walhalla and JoAnn worked at the Pembilier Nursing
Home and was involved in the St. Peter's Episcopal
Church, singing in the choir. They moved to
Galesburg, N.D., in 1980. She worked at the Pizza
Shop in Mayville, N.D., and the Galesburg
Café and most recently, she worked at
American Crystal Sugar in Hillsboro,
N.D.
Survivors
include her husband, Charles W. Belanus of
Galesburg, N.D.; two daughters, Jody (Curtis)
Belanus-Condon of Mayville, N.D., and Bonnie
Belanus of Fargo, N.D.; three grandchildren; her
mother, Rose (Herman) Bruno of Great Falls, Mont.;
four brothers, Terry, Ted, Tim and Tagert; and two
sisters, Judy Eyles and Jane Bruns.
JoAnn
was preceded in death by her son, William; her
father, Marvin Wahl; and a sister,
Joyce.
