Mass of Christian burial was held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 23, at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Thief River Falls with Father Dennis Wieland officiating. Angie Schirmers was the reader, and special music was provided by Tim Cayler. Casketbearers were Jason Morken, Jesse Hodgson, Eric Wikoff, Greg Audette, Wesley Cayler and Brian Perreault. Burial was in the Viking Cemetery in Viking township of Marshall county. The Green Funeral Home of Thief River Falls was in charge of the arrangements.

Beverly Jean Hodgson was born on April 24, 1946 in Grand Forks, N.D., the daughter of Leonard and Eleanor (Clemitson) Hodgson. She was baptized in the Lutheran faith at United Lutheran Church in Grand Forks. She attended school at the Rye 30 School at rural Grand Forks and also at Valley School and Central High School in Grand Forks. She graduated from Lafayette High School in Red Lake Falls.

On September 2, 1967, Beverly was united in marriage to Richard Audette at Brooks. From 1967 to 1971, they made there home in Terrebonne. They then lived in Crookston for 10 years before moving to Viking where they have since resided.

She worked for Lady Slipper Designs in Bemidji and most recently was employed at Digi-Key Corp. in Thief River Falls. She was also self employed in tax preparation for over 26 years.

Beverly was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church.

She enjoyed gardening, canning, reading, playing cards and games, cooking for her family and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Beverly is survived by her husband, Richard of Viking; four sons, Randy (Michele) Audette of Thief River Falls, Robert (Jennifer) Audette of Viking, Rodney (Melody) Audette of Salol and Ronald Audette of Viking; two daughters, Barbara (Jay) Asp and and Brenda (Brent) Johnson, both of of Thief River Falls; 14 grandchildren; two sisters, Linda (Paul) Morken of Warren and JoAnn (David) Winger of Cambridge; two brothers, Bruce (Lynn) Hodgson of Gentilly and Sheldon (Kristi) Hodgson of Brooks; her mother, Eleanor Hodgson of Red Lake Falls; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by one son, David; her father; one infant sister, Geraldine; and her grandparents, Carl and Clara Clemitson and Charles and Emma Lewis.
