Red Lake Falls - Anna Audette, 91, of Red Lake Falls died Saturday, May 17, 1997 at her granddaughter's home near Mentor.
Mass of Christian Burial was held on Tuesday, May 20 at 2 p.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls with Father Rick Lambert officiating. Marjorie Schafer was the organist and St. Joseph's Church Choir provided special music. Casketbearers were Greg Leach, Mike Leach, Kevin Leach, Brian Leach, Kenneth Trandem and Samuel Trandem. Buriel was in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Petterson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Anna Audette was born December 4, 1905, the daughter of John and Amanda (Benoit) Mayhew in Red Lake Falls where she was raised and attended school. On November 5, l930, she was united in marriage to Clifford J. Audette in Red Lake Falls where the couple made their home. Since June of l992, Anna had made her home with her granddaughter near Mentor, She was a member of St. Joseph's Church and the Guild.
Anna is survived by her daughter Gloria (Lawrence) Leach of Thief River Falls; son, John of Mentor; six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford, in l982; parents and sister, Alvina Mayhew.
