New Richmond - Margaret Asp, 93, died Tuesday, July 21, 1998 at Holy Family Hospital.
Funeral services were held on July 24 at Beebe Mortuary with Reverend Alan George officiating. Helen Nelson, accompanied by Jerri Rang, served as soloist. Casketbearers were her grandsons, David and Daniel Asp, Ronald and Randy Wallace, and Gaylon and Robert Phelps. Interment was in the Little Falls Cemetery in Alden township. Arrangements were made by Beebe Mortuary in New Richmond.
Margaret Dorothy Schuster was born on April 2, 1905 to Nickolaus and Emma (Runge) Schuster. On June 24, 1924 she was united in marriage to Robert H. Asp Sr. in Hudson.
Margaret is survived by one son, Robert (Patricia Zealley) Asp Jr. of Amery, two daughters, Alma (Gorden) Phelps of Goodridge and Mary Wallace of Boardman; 14 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 13 step-great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and six step-great-grant-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; one brother and four sisters.
