City, Ill. - Herbert Anderson, 89, died Sunday,
April 15, 2001 at Pavilion Nursing Home in
Waukegan, Ill.
Graveside
services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 6,
in the Finnish National Cemetery in
Plummer.
Herbert
Anderson was born on March 14, 1912 in Chicago,
Ill. where he was raised and educated. He worked at
Linberg Steel Heat Treating for 33 years in Melrose
Park, Ill.
On
July 2, 1949, he was united in marriage to Aileen
Silta at Chicago, Ill. She died on May 20, 2000.
John has spent the last 13 years in Waukegan,
Ill.
Survivors
include a granddaughter, great-granddaughter, two
nephews, a niece, and a grand nephew and grand
niece.
John
was preceded in death by his wife; a son, Gerald;
his parents; a brother, Edwin; and a sister,
Elsie.
