Anderson, 65

- Frances Anderson, 65, formerly of Thief River
Falls, died on Monday, March 17, 2003 at her home
in Fertile.
Funeral
services were held on Friday, March 21 at the
Johnson-Green Funeral Home in Thief River Falls
with the Rev. Wesley Langaas officiating.
Casketbearers were Chad Nelson, Earl Anderson,
Brian Nephew, Nick Lefrooth, Brian Johnson and Greg
McElroy. Interment was in Spruce Valley Cemetery in
Spruce Valley Township of Marshall
County.
Frances
Mae Donaldson was born on May 27, 1937, the
daughter of James and Nickoline (Rust) Donaldson in
Strandquist. She was baptized and confirmed in the
Lutheran faith and attended school in
Strandquist.
On
January 5, 1955, Frances was united in marriage to
Gordon Lefrooth in Newfolden. The couple made their
home in Strandquist.
On
December 26, 1973, she married Gordon "Corky"
Anderson in Erskine. Corky and Frances made their
home in Thief River Falls. She worked in the sewing
department at Arctic, at Land O'Lakes and several
area restaurants. Corky and Frances loved to hunt
and fish. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and loved
spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors
include two sons, Terry (Wendy) Lefrooth of Inver
Grove Heights, and Jerry (Emma) Lefrooth of
Strandquist; five grandchildren; five
great-grandchildren; one brother, Harold Donaldson
of Strandquist; and her mother-in-law, Harriet
Anderson of Middle River.
Frances
was preceded in death by her husband, Corky; her
parents; two children, James Lefrooth and Joy Lynn
Lefrooth, both at birth; and two brothers, "Jimmy"
Donaldson and Leslie Lagerquist.
