Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, December 20, 2003, at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Thief River Falls, with Father Tim McGee, officiating and Deacon John Eisbrener. Casket bearers included Gary Hoglo, Joe Hoglo, David Hoglo, Jim Hoglo, Steve Johnson and Mark Anderson. Interment was held at St. Bernard's Cemetery.

Charlette "Jane" Dahle was born December 28, 1944 in Thief River Falls, the daughter of Ervin and Alice (Stigen) Dahle. She was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church and later confirmed in the Catholic Faith. In 1962, Jane graduated from Lincoln High School in Thief River Falls.

In 1962, Jane married Gene Hoglo. Gene died on February 14, 1964.

Jane was united in marriage to Robert Anderson on April 24, 1965 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Thief River Falls. She operated a Day Care Center from her home for 27 years.

She was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church and the Guild and also was a member of the VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading, country music, dancing, writing poetry and very much enjoyed baking. She was a foster mom to many children and her special companion was her dog "Scritch", but most of all, she loved her grandchildren very much.

Survivors include her husband Robert of Thief River Falls; children Colette (Brian) Voecks and Georgette (Darren) Philipp, all of Thief River Falls, Robert (Bea) Anderson of Glasgow, Scotland, Derrick (Regan) Anderson, Oklahoma City, Okla.; three grandchildren; a sister, Barbara (Wayne) Halverson of Minneapolis; brother, Lyle (Lucy) Dahle, Ozark, Mo.; brother-in-law, Don Butler of Blaine; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by husband Gene, parents and sister, Joyce Butler, mother-in-law, Marion Hoglo and brother-in-law, Robert Hoglo. A00003B2003DC24
