
Hopkins - Thelma Anderson, 83, died Thursday, July 1, 1999 at her home in Hopkins.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 5 at Bethel Lutheran Church in Greenbush with Pastor Ernie Christensen officiating. Joan Haugen was the organist. Casketbearers were Ross Eeg, Byron Eeg, Marc Anderson, Matthew Anderson, Darryl Trangsrud and Roger Trangsrud. Burial was in Pauli Lutheran Cemetery, rural Greenbush.
Thelma Theresa Eeg was born on March 7, 1916 in Greenbush, the daughter of Tennes and Thea (Nesteby) Eeg. On March 24, 1940, she married Harley Lloyd Anderson at Halma. They lived at Greenbush where they farmed, and Harley was an electrician. In 1956, they moved to Hopkins where they owned Anderson Electric Co. Harley died on July 26, 1977.
Thelma is survived by three sons, LeRoy (Carol) of Minneapolis, Terry of Mathis, TX, and Rodney (Connie) of Minnetonka; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one sister, Elena Aamodt of Greenbush; and many other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; two sisters, Ilah Gauss and Alvilda Trangsrud; and three brothers, Tenney and Theodore Eeg and Art Linder.
